The angle will make an adequate car trailer if it is trussed properly, by itself without being trussed, it will fold up when you try to drive a car on it. With the side rails I'm sure it acts like a truss making the frame stronger. (see pic) My trailer plan is 5' wide by 16' -18' long (not sure yet) It will have 2 3500# axles for a 7000# GVWR.
