WebTo add a new node to the cluster, you first need to add the DNS name or IP address of that node and port (on which PostgreSQL is running) in the pg_dist_node catalog table. You can do so using the citus_add_node UDF. Example: SELECT * from citus_add_node('node-name', 5432); The new node is available for shards of new distributed tables. Webcitus.replicate_reference_tables_on_activate (boolean) Reference table shards must be placed on all nodes which have distributed tables. By default, reference table shards are copied to a node at node activation time, that is, when such functions as citus_add_node or citus_activate_node are called.
