WebWhen I was still buying physical books, I'd always browse through the beginning, a random section in the middle, and a random section in the last quarter of the book. The only exceptions were a small bunch of authors that are must-buy for me: Tanith Lee, Leigh Brackett, C.S. Friedman, Robert E. Howard, David Gemmell. WebA DNF to me is a book that I will never attempt to read again and didn't like at all whilst a book I didn't finish because I just put down and got distracted from is probably one I was still enjoying and would go back to eventually.
